Soccer Legend Claudio Suarez Teaches Hispanic Students How to Score Financial Goals with Financial Soccer

Visa's Free FIFA World Cup-Themed Personal Finance Video Game Showcased at CHCI's Ready to Lead Event

On Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at South Mountain Community College, soccer legend Claudio Suarez, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) and Visa Inc. will showcase Financial Soccer to 150 Hispanic students from the Phoenix area.

Financial Soccer is a FIFA World Cup branded educational video game that challenges players to answer fast-paced, multiple-choice personal finance questions correctly to advance down the field for a chance to score a goal. This free game features three difficulty levels – geared to children, teens and adults – and has companion lesson modules for classroom use. Players learn key concepts about saving, responsible spending, budgeting, and the wise use of credit.

Designed to make personal finance learning both fun and engaging for students, the game incorporates lessons taught through Practical Money Skills for Life, Visa's award-winning financial education program.

Financial Soccer is available in ten different languages and has been introduced in thirty countries around the globe. It can be played for free and online at www.financialsoccer.com.
