Financial Education Video Game to Help Military Personnel Score Financial Touchdowns

On Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Washington Redskins' London Fletcher and Alfred Morris and Visa Inc. will be at the Navy Exchange at NSA Bethesda to showcase an educational video game called Financial Football. The NFL stars will be rolling up their sleeves to play a game of Financial Football with military personnel from Walter Reed.

Financial Football helps students and adults tackle their financial futures. The game incorporates lessons taught through Practical Money Skills for Life (www.practicalmoneyskills.com), a free, award-winning money management program. This game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum.

WHAT:
Washington Redskins' linebacker London Fletcher and running back Alfred Morris, Navy Federal Credit Union and Visa Inc. collaborate to showcase Financial Football by playing the game with troops present at the event.

Fletcher and Morris will coach the troops in a high energy game of Financial Football.
