Financial Education Video Game to Help New Mexico Students Score Financial Touchdowns
On Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Denver Broncos tight end Joel Dreessen, New Mexico State Auditor Hector Balderas, State Treasurer James Lewis, New Mexico Jump$tart and Visa Inc. will be at Albuquerque High School in Albuquerque for a statewide rollout of an educational video game and classroom curriculum called Financial Football.
The centerpiece of Visa's nationwide educational initiative with the NFL and NFL PLAYERS, Financial Football helps students and adults tackle their financial futures. The game incorporates lessons taught through Practical Money Skills for Life (www.practicalmoneyskills.com), a free, award-winning money management program. The game is accompanied by a classroom curriculum and is being distributed to every public middle and high school in the state of New Mexico by Auditor Balderas' office.

As part of this event Balderas, Dresseen and Lewis will coach the students in a high energy game of Financial Football.
