Visa Sponsors Educators at Jump$tart’s 2017 National Educator Conference

Visa welcomed its Innovative Educator Sponsorship recipients who attended the Jump$tart National Educator Conference in Washington D.C. from November 3–5. Visa hosted a luncheon for the six educators along with Jump$tart board members and sponsored a Financial Football game at a tailgate party for 300 educators at the conference. Visa also distributed free financial literacy resources at the conference’s exhibit hall for educators teaching personal finance to students in grades K-12.

Visa’s nominated Innovative Educators, Andrew Borgialli, Lothar Konietzko, Sharon Paul, Jennifer Jordan, Laurie Gardner and Talitha Oliveri were joined by Hugh Norton, Visa’s Head of U.S. Financial Education, and Laura Levine, President and CEO of the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

Visa’s NFL-themed Financial Football game, an interactive game that engages students while teaching them money management skills. Teams compete by answering finance questions to earn yardage and score touchdowns.
