Visa Sponsors 6 Educators at the Jump$tart Educator Conference

Each year, Visa expresses its commitment to financial education by sponsoring six exemplary educators to attend the most significant personal finance conference in the U.S. for educators – the Jump$tart National Educator Conference. Since 2013, Visa has sponsored 36 educators from 20 states. This year’s conference took place in Cleveland, Ohio from November 4–6 and was attended by more than 300 educators from across the country.

Visa also hosted a private reception for the Innovative Educators and Jump$tart board members, giving the educators the opportunity to share their teaching methods and network with community leaders.

Visa’s breakout session, led by Enterprise Development Lead Hugh Norton, was attended by more than 60 educators, showcasing the broad range of personal finance resources made available free to educators by Practical Money Skills, including classroom curriculum, apps, calculators, games and more. During the session, Visa showcased the latest version of Financial Football as well as introduce The Payoff, Visa’s new immersive experiential game.

During the exhibition portion of the conference, Visa distributed its free materials and Financial Football swag. Three lucky educators won autographed cards from New York Giants players Eli Manning and Saquon Barkley, who teamed up with Visa to launch Financial Football at MetLife Stadium in October.
